Job Description
SUMMARY:
Supervises employees in quality department; scanning, referrals, care coordination, and quality analysts. Department is responsible for processing referrals initiated by PCP, scanning documents received from other health care organizations, supporting patient’s home health and DME needs, closing care gaps, and generating quality revenue.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Performs supervisory functions; distributes work evenly, monitors productivity and quality of work while providing immediate feedback to staff, reviewing timecards bi-weekly, resource to staff, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary action under the guidance of the manager or director.
Assists in creating Standard Work for quality department functions and other functions in TMCOne like medical assistants and front desk.
Assists with hiring qualified personnel, skilled and non-skilled, according to position descriptions.
Participates in maintenance, completion, and submission of reports and records as required by policy, federal, state, and local regulation; maintains compliance of department to Standards of Operation.
Schedules training programs for new employees.
Assists quality analysts in distributing work and addressing quality programs that will bring in the most revenue. This is in alignment with the Medicare Shared-Savings Program (MSSP) and other value-based contracts which vary by payer.
Program supervision including the team based care program and regional office support by the nursing team, care coordination, and analysts.
Supports manager and director in creating presentation materials to demonstrate the performance of the department and other programs under the Quality Department like advanced care planning, behavioral health vendors, chronic care management, etc.
Adheres to and supports team members in exhibiting TMCH values of integrity, community, compassion, and dedication.

Assists with special projects as needed.
Performs related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experience as approved by manager and/or HR.
EXPERIENCE: Four (4) years of related experience; preferably in a lead or supervisory role. Project management experience preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Knowledge of EPIC system and of patient care best practices.
· Knowledge of library development and purchasing practices.
· Skill in evaluating performance and operations and making recommendations for improvement.
· Skill in training, leading others, guiding and evaluating staff performance and making recommendations for improvement.
· Skill in organizing work and maintaining interpersonal relationships.
· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
· Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure and training manuals.
· Ability to complete routine reports and correspondence.
