Registered Nurse (RN) New Graduate - November 2018 Start Date
The Tucson Medical Center New Graduate Nursing Residency Program is a one-year long program which includes: hospital orientation, skills labs, forums, interdisciplinary experiences, unit orientation with a preceptor, and monthly educational forums. We realize transition can be stressful and a little scary. This program has been designed to minimize these stresses. We are committed to your progression and look forward to the opportunity to make your transition into the profession of nursing successful.
Applications accepted through July 9, 2018. Interviews to be conducted the first part of August. New Nurses hired will begin orientation on November 5, 2018.
EDUCATION: Graduation from a qualified, nationally-accredited nursing program. Candidates must have graduated between August 2017 and August 2018.
EXPERIENCE: None required. No more than six months of paid RN work experience.
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION: Current RN licensure permitting work in the State of Arizona and Current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
