Registered Nurse (RN) New Graduate-Neuro/Spine Unit 950
The Tucson Medical Center New Graduate Nursing Residency Program is a one-year long program which includes: hospital orientation, skills labs, forums, interdisciplinary experiences, unit orientation with a preceptor, and monthly educational forums. We realize transition can be stressful and a little scary. This program has been designed to minimize these stresses. We are committed to your progression and look forward to the opportunity to make your transition into the profession of nursing successful.
We will be accepting RN New Graduates into the following units:
Adult Medical Surgical
Adult Medical Telemetry
Applications accepted through December 28, 2017. Interviews to be conducted the last part of November. New Nurses hired will begin orientation on March 5, 2018 .
EDUCATION: Graduation from a qualified, nationally-accredited nursing program. Candidates must have graduated between December 2016 and January 2018.
EXPERIENCE: None required. No more than six months of paid RN work experience.
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION: Current RN licensure permitting work in the State of Arizona and Current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
