Unit Information:
The Endoscopy Suite at TMC consists of six rooms with state of the art equipment. The Endoscopy Team works closely with physicians to provide the latest in technological services for GI, Respiratory, and Lithotripsy procedures. Patients’ age ranges from neonatal to geriatric. Pre-op, Intra-op, and PACU services are supported in this department. All nurses are required to have CPR, ACLS, and PALS certification. Experience in procedural sedation is preferred. The Endoscopy Suite is staffed Monday through Friday with weekend and night call to cover inpatients and emergencies.
Requirements:
Education: Graduation from a qualified, nationally-accredited nursing program.
Experience: One (1) year of nursing experience in an acute care setting required. Two (2) years of nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred.
Licensure or Certification: Current RN licensure permitting work in the state of Arizona, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Additional certifications may be required per department.
