TMC Health is recruiting for a Recruiter to join our expanding team to support our growing system! If you like meeting new people, helping others find their dream job, and building relationships with community members and other professionals then this is the role for you! This position will support our new Oncology division and get the opportunity to interact directly with clinic leaders. You will be the face of TMCH at community and school job fairs, present on our training programs and many employment opportunities, and guide candidates through the hiring process.
SUMMARY:
The Recruiter provides full lifecyle recruiting for all position levels. Acts as a subject matter expert and consultant to the hiring managers on the recruiting process. Generates interest in TMC and builds a pipeline of diverse applicants by identifying and locating passive candidates. Ensures a positive experience for candidates as they move through the recruiting process. Assists in evaluating and implementing process improvements and metrics.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Working with the hiring manager, establishes requisition definition, requirements, and sourcing strategies.
Conducts external searches through strategic sourcing such as networking, job boards, social media sites, colleges, associations, organizations, and cold calling.
Consults with hiring manager and follows established processes and procedures to achieve agreed upon metrics/SLAs.
Effectively manages the internal applicant process.
Screens, presents, and "sells" qualified candidates to hiring managers.
Schedules and facilitates interview agendas and travel.
Manages hiring manager’s expectations.
Leads candidates through the hiring process to ensure a positive experience and coaches each candidate through every stage of the process.
Develops and maintains a strong candidate pipeline utilizing various sources; referrals, applicant tracking system, recruiting events, networking, internet mining, etc.
Attends and travels to local and out-of-state recruitment events or conferences as needed to fill key specialty positions.
Develop and maintains extensive and effective networks within professional association and within the community to ensure a continuous flow of candidates.
Coordinates the preparation of special recruitment materials using a variety of media and assists in writing recruitment copy for specialty positions and conventions/conferences.
Extends offers of employment, negotiates starting salaries and works to drive offer acceptance.
Initiates new hire process for pre-employment physicals, background checks, and item as required.
Adheres to and supports team members in exhibiting TMCH values of integrity, community, compassion, and dedication.
Adheres to TMCH organizational and department-specific safety and confidentiality policies and standards.
Performs related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of full cycle recruitment experience preferably in a healthcare facility
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION: PHR, SPHR preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Demonstrated expertise in advanced internet searching, candidate research and cold calling
Strong business acumen
Ability to develop relationships and build credibility with hiring managers
Advanced knowledge of technical systems (Taleo and PeopleSoft)
Knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practices
Strong written, oral, and presentation skills
Ability to manage high volume of work, including requisitions and workflow.
Advanced knowledge of full cycle recruiting components, including compensation.
Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, recruitment plan development, sourcing methods, candidate assessment and closure skills.
