Children's Clinics is seeking a Per Diem Primary Care Physician.

Our Primary Care Clinic is fully staffed and located within a comprehensive Multi-Specialty Integrated Clinic serving both the medical and behavioral health needs of children with complex needs.
Children’s Clinics provides an excellent total rewards package including a CME stipend. Ample time off, no weekend duties and limited on call responsibilities. Hours of operation 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
BC/BE in Pediatrics and/or Internal Medicine preferred. Current Arizona license and DEA number. Med Peds preferred. We will consider a pediatrician with adult experience or family practice physician with strong pediatric experience.

SUMMARY
This position delivers primary or specialty care to new and established patients in accordance with the licensure and the highest standards of quality, integrity and compassion.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Delivers healthcare in a professional manner that strives to meet or exceed those criteria set forth by NCQA, OSHA, CLIA, The Joint Commission, as well as the internal standards that seek continuous quality improvements.
Provides service to all new and established patients presenting to the practice who meet the standards for a positive physician-patient relationship. Physician must comply with terms of all payor contracts and any other legal requirements concerning discrimination, access to care and the standard of care.
Maintains Medical Records for all services provided, Physician will remain current with all licensure requirements, compliance training, to the facility Code of Conduct, and other regulations or imperatives both current and as yet undefined.
Works with Administration to achieve a practice style that meets physician preference, quality criteria and fiscal responsibility. Physician and administration work collaboratively to manage costs and productivity.
Performs other physician-related duties as required and assigned

Knowledge and competency to care for children/adults with complex medical needs.

Skill in problem solving, critical thinking, and detailed organization
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with patients, their families, clinic staff and community members.
Ability to work with interdisciplinary clinical teams.
Ability to collaborate with medical specialists with different sub-specialty training.
Ability to maintain good standing with the Federal and State agencies avoiding any action that may lead to sanctioning, exclusion or other ineligible status.
Ability to operate personal computer and related office equipment as needed to perform job function.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine required
Internship and/or Residency required
Experience:
One or more years of related pediatric experience required
Licenses and Certificates:
Board certification eligibility required

FINGERPRINT CLEARANCE
Employees are required to maintain a current Department of Public Safety Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card. Proof of a current fingerprint clearance card must be received within 90 days of employment.
