Organization Development - Trainer
Job Description
SUMMARY:
Participates in a professional human resource capacity that involves training, needs assessment, developing training tools to encompass a wide range of areas but to include leadership training. Evaluates training programs and collaborates with employees and leaders to identify opportunities and make recommendations for TMCH training and education initiatives. Maintains documentation/files related to area of specialty and prepares status reports.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Facilitation: Lead workshops, training sessions, and team-building activities to support employee development and organizational goals.
· Program Design: Collaborate with HR and department leaders to design and develop training programs that address specific organizational needs.
· Assessment: Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities within the organization.
· Evaluation: Measure the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, surveys, and performance metrics, and make recommendations for improvements.
· Change Management: Support organizational change initiatives by facilitating communication, training, and support for employees.
· Coaching: Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to employees to help them achieve their professional development goals.
· Analyzes employee relations issues to identify trends, needs for action or policy change
· Collaboration: Work closely with HR team members and other departments to ensure alignment of training programs with organizational objectives.
· Documentation: Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant progress, and program outcomes.
· Adheres to TMCH organizational and department-specific safety, confidentiality, values policies and standards.
· Performs related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited institution in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
EXPERIENCE: Three (3) - five (5) years of experience in training and development or facilitation.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: None required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
· Skill in conducting needs analysis studies and providing recommendations to management.
· Skill in preparing detailed reports, researching a variety of topics and presenting information to management.
· Skilled in facilitation and presentation.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to design and implement effective training programs
· Ability to define problems collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
· Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
