SUMMARY:

The Manager, Financial Process Improvement & Treasury Operations is responsible for leading continuous financial process improvement, technology optimization, and operational excellence initiatives across accounting processes and treasury activities. This position serves as a key business partner to Accounting, Finance, Revenue Cycle, Supply Chain, Information Technology, and operational stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen internal controls, standardize processes, enhance data integrity, and leverage technology solutions. The role is primarily responsible for evaluating, improving, and supporting financial processes and systems that enhance the effectiveness of accounting operations, financial reporting, and treasury activities. Treasury responsibilities include oversight of cash management, cash forecasting, banking relationships, investment portfolio administration, liquidity planning, treasury systems, debt compliance, and related financial controls. As efficiencies are achieved, the position continuously identifies and pursues new opportunities for process improvement, automation, and technology-enabled solutions that support organizational objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Financial Process Improvement & Systems Optimization

· Lead the identification, evaluation, and implementation of financial process improvement opportunities within accounting and related financial operations.

· Analyze existing financial workflows to identify inefficiencies, risks, control gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for automation and standardization.

· Develop, document, and maintain standardized financial policies, procedures, and workflow processes.

· Partner with stakeholders to redesign financial processes that improve accuracy, efficiency, compliance, and customer service.

· Evaluate and implement technology solutions that streamline accounting and treasury operations.

· Support financial system implementations, upgrades, integrations, testing, and user acceptance activities.

· Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to process improvement initiatives, operational effectiveness, and control compliance.

· Serve as a subject matter expert on financial systems, controls, and best practices.

· Support organizational change management activities associated with process transformation initiatives.

Treasury Management

· Manage daily treasury operations, including cash positioning, liquidity analysis, forecasting, and cash flow management.

· Monitor cash balances and optimize use of cash resources across the organization.

· Maintain banking relationships and coordinate treasury-related activities with financial institutions.

· Oversee administration of banking platforms, treasury management systems, and related controls.

· Support investment portfolio administration in accordance with organizational policies and objectives.

· Monitor debt compliance and assist with debt reporting requirements.

· Develop short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts and financial models to support operational and financial planning

· Ensure compliance with treasury policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.

· Review and approve treasury transactions, wire transfers, and banking activities in accordance with established authorization protocols.

· Support financing, debt, and capital-related analyses as requested.

· Continuously evaluate treasury processes and controls to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, automation, and risk mitigation.

Financial Analysis and Reporting

· Develop analyses, dashboards, and reports to support executive decision-making.

· Prepare reporting and analysis related to treasury activities, liquidity, and operational improvement initiatives.

· Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic planning efforts.

· Monitor and evaluate financial process performance and identify areas requiring corrective action.

· Assist with audits, regulatory reviews, and internal control assessments.

Leadership and Collaboration

· Coordinate and support initiatives related to financial process improvement, technology solutions, and treasury operations.

· Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Revenue Cycle, Information Technology, Human Resources, and operational stakeholders to identify and implement process and system improvements.

· Provide subject matter expertise related to accounting processes, treasury operations, financial systems, and internal controls.

· Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence.

· Participate in strategic planning and organizational initiatives as assigned.

· Adheres to TMCH organizational and department-specific safety, confidentiality, values, policies, and standards.

· Performs related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.

· Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

· Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in finance, accounting, treasury, financial operations, or process improvement.

· Experience leading cross-functional projects and operational improvement initiatives.

· Experience with financial analysis, cash management, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.

LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION:

· None required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

· Strong knowledge of treasury management principles, cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and banking operations.

· Advanced understanding of financial reporting, accounting concepts, and internal controls.

· Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and project management principles.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to all levels of the organization.

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools.

· Experience developing metrics, dashboards, and performance reporting.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

· Strong collaboration, leadership, and facilitation skills.

· Ability to influence stakeholders and drive organizational change.

· Knowledge of healthcare finance and reimbursement models preferred.
