Lead Advanced Practitioner for Emergency Room
Job Description
Tucson Medical Center in partnership with Integrative Emergency Services (IES) is now hiring a full-time Lead Advanced Practice Provider (PA, ACNP, AGACNP) in the Emergency Department at Tucson Medical Center. This position will work clinically in addition to leading the APP team in the Adult & Pediatric ERs. Duties include scheduling, quality reporting, serving as a liaison, and attending hospital and service line meetings.

Separate Adult & Pediatric Emergency Departments & Clinical Decision Unit
- Volume: 72,500
- Admission Rate: 32%
- Patients/Hour: 1.7
- Physician Coverage: 69 hrs daily
- APP Coverage: 50 hrs daily
- EMR: EPIC
- PED Beds: 16
- ED Beds: 60
- CDU Beds: 18
Required Qualifications:
- Two years clinical leadership experience in hospital Emergency Department
- Board-certified Physician Assistant, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Acute Care Gerontology Nurse Practitioner
- AZ PA or NP license
- DEA certificate
- BLS, ACLS & PALS
