Financial Analyst - Decision Support/Reimbursement
Provides assistance in a number of financial areas including financial decision support, cost accounting, proforma development, and managed care contracting and reimbursement assistance.
Maintains the hospitals financial decision support and cost accounting system
Assists with maintenance of hospital’s contract management (reimbursement) system analyzing the hospital’s reimbursement terms of all payors.
Assists with compiling information for the Medicare cost report.
Runs ad hoc reports out of various systems to analyze hospital volumes and contribution margins
Creates proformas of proposed service lines
Conducts and assists in the presentation of fiscal educational sessions as assigned.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of accounting or financial analysis experience.
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION: None required.
