SUMMARY:

Supports internal and external communication projects and programs for TMC Health, Tucson Medical Center (TMC), TMC Foundation, TMC One and other System entities as needed. Assists with editorial content for publications and reports. Contributes to social media and web initiatives, including writing and content management for internal and external websites and other platforms.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Creates and disseminates information about TMC HealthCare initiatives and programs through various channels, including internal and external publications, newsletters, brochures, and online posts.

Assists in determining appropriate audiences and adapting information accordingly.

Supports the planning and execution of occasional events and programs, including vendor coordination and cost estimation.

Contributes to the maintenance and growth of TMC's corporate website and social media presence.

Creates and manages content for digital properties and social media platforms.

Supports the development of marketing materials and ensures adherence to established standards for appearance and editorial content.

Helps coordinate with external communication agencies and professionals as needed.

Assists in hospital and system public relations campaigns.

Exhibits excellence in customer service and adheres to TMC HealthCare's values and policies.

Performs related duties as assigned.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

EDUCATION:  Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field.

 

EXPERIENCE:  Two (2) years of related professional experience; communication or marketing experience preferred.

 

LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION: None required.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Basic knowledge of marketing concepts and community resources.
  • Ability to create multimedia content for social media and digital placements, including video and graphic design.
  • Familiarity with media resources and contacts.
  • Strong writing and editing skills for various communication materials.
  • Proficiency in social media management and basic understanding of online marketing.
  • Ability to manage content within internal and external websites.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and basic design software.
