SUMMARY:

Provides technical guidance in data gathering, analysis, database management, benchmarking and data display.

Provides systems analysis and design, system configuration, database management and troubleshooting for all applicable systems.  Formulates and generates system reporting, benchmarking, and data displays.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Maintains business database and other business applications.

Solves production and maintenance problems, documents processes and creates action plans delineating steps and procedures. 

Implements and modifies test plans for information technology systems including unit and system testing.

Documents and prioritizes issues with vendor; stays current with vendor trends, strategic plans and technology.

Assists with departmental operations that may include inventory management, vendor management, parts & supplies requisitions, etc.

Reviews workflow processes and gives suggestions of technology solutions and/or performs ongoing reviews of outcomes data to identify opportunities for data and/or workflow improvements.

Manages equipment recalls and work with equipment vendors to complete recalls.

Prepares detailed written reports, business correspondence and work procedures.

Develops and supports a consistent change management methodology; uses this methodology to implement and drive change; facilitates change management activities.

Establishes sustainable steps for managing and evolving processes and associated documentation.

Evaluates issues and concerns providing critical thinking and problem analysis, sees patterns, makes analogies and thinks systemically to provide solutions.

Develops benchmarking sources.

Develops, maintains and enhances a variety of quality and safety metrics displays including reports, presentations, scorecards, etc.

Provides data analysis support for process improvement projects when requested.

Adheres to TMC organizational and department-specific safety, confidentiality, values, policies and standards.

Performs related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Associates degree or equivalent combination of experience and education. 

EXPERIENCENone required. One (1) year of business analysis or systems analysis experience preferred. 

LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION: None required.
