Full Time Position: Part Time Administrative, Part Time Clinical
Provides strategic leadership in quality management and patient safety to ensure every patient is kept safe and provided with compassionate care fully aligned with the most current clinical standards.
In partnership with the hospital’s Chief of Staff, enforces standards of professional conduct for the medical staff and ensures consistent application of Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations and Fair Hearing procedures.
In collaboration with department medical directors, develops meaningful, provider-specific performance reports for continuous feedback to physicians and advanced practice providers regarding the care and service provided to our patients.
Provides administrative oversight of assigned hospital departments. Meets regularly with department managers, provides mentoring and coaching and ensures that organizational goals are achieved.
Advises the CEO of medical staff concerns and works collaboratively towards appropriate solutions to problems.
Assists the CEO is the evaluation of new clinical services for organizational growth and prosperity and to meet the healthcare needs of the community.
Serves as an active member of the senior leadership team
Serves as an active staff member in the medical department of his/her specialty (Part-Time)
Required: MD or DO with current, unrestricted Arizona State License and current DEA registration, five years of relevant clinical experience
Additional Preferred: MBA or MHA, experience in hospital leadership at the executive level or service line Medical Director
