Chief Financial Officer - Tucson Children's Clinics for Rehabilitative Services
The Tucson Children's Clinics for Rehabilitative Services is a private not-for-profit corporation providing health care for Special Needs children It is funded primarily through AHCCCS capitation payments and functions as both a licensed outpatient treatment center (accredited by the Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Health Care Organizations) and as a managed care entity. Children’s Clinics is responsible for a broad range of specialized inpatient, outpatient, and delivered to those patients who are covered under the State of Arizona's program.
The Chief Financial Officer oversees the operations of the Finance, Information Systems, Network Development & Contracting, Enrollment and Healthcare Support functions.
As a member of the corporate Senior Leadership Team, the Chief Financial Officer reports to the Chief Executive Officer and serves as the Children’s Clinics primary Financial Officer. The incumbent oversees the operations of Business Services, Accounting Contracting, Front Desk/Scheduling, Medical Record and Prior Authorization.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university in Accounting or business-related field; and/or six to ten years’ experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience or Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA); or one to five years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals, extensive financial reports, and/or legal documents; ability to respond to sensitive and/or confidential inquiries or complaints from regulatory agencies, or members of the business community; ability to make effective and persuasive presentations or write articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format; ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
MATH SKILLS: Ability to work with concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions, and to apply mathematical operations to solve or analyze job-related situations; ability to create financial forecasts and budgets; ability to identify positive or negative variances from expected outcomes.
CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS: Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems; ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.); ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
