Provides advanced functional-level support to business units in the use of an advanced ERP system and other assigned applications.  Provides technical and functional-level expertise in the deployment and support of advanced information systems.  Plans, analyzes and designs, performs structured testing, and prepares technical specifications.  Facilitates plans, performs requirement analysis, and designs system configuration, troubleshoots, trains, and tests.  Analyzes business operations and provides expert consultation for optimum system utilization.


Drives the design and implementation of new business processes and optimized system configuration.

Leads and facilitates design sessions to achieve improvements.

Understands the business strategy of a particular function/area and works with the team to define business requirements.

Influences business leadership and management decisions and drives ownership and acceptance of change to the business.

Aligns work to departmental goals.

Systems Analysis:

Develops work plans for a variety of moderately complex systems based on system development life cycle methodology.  Analyzes and designs systems that meet user requirements, anticipate their needs, and conform to technical standards.  Assists in setting standards for and preparing requirement definitions, statements of work, programming specifications, and flow charts based on project scope.

Creates and communicates status reports in accordance with departmental standards.

Updates documentation consistently, following departmental policies and procedures.

Attends and participates in team, project and department meetings to increase awareness and information flow.

Meets with customers frequently and provide frequent written status updates to customers, team members, and department management.

Identifies solutions to complex business directives or implementation impediments.

Provides consultative services to customers and technologists as to the workflow processes and incorporation of technology solutions.

Develops clear, concise training materials and conducts customer educational sessions.

Executes comprehensive testing plans to verify critical business outputs and system integrity.

Writes SOWs that are complete and clearly understood, while appropriately setting customer expectations.

Documents and prioritizes issues with vendor; stays current with vendor trends, strategic plans and technology.

Schedules loading bundles and fixes with vendor, systems group and customers.

Examines techniques in use and determining appropriate changes to effect improvements, reduce costs and enhance internal operational business processes.

Maintains knowledge of expanding technical and business expertise and applies new skills and knowledge to TMC situations.



EDUCATION:  Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university in accounting, finance, or computer analysis, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

EXPERIENCE: Four (4) years of business systems analysis experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
