SUMMARY:
Provides functional-level support to business units in the use of an advanced ERP system and other assigned applications.  Provides system analysis and design, system configuration, troubleshooting, training, and testing in conjunction with Business Systems Analysts II and Business Systems Analysts, Senior.  Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Devises or modifies procedures to solve basic problems. Analyzes business operations and provides consultation for optimum system utilization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Aligns work to departmental goals.

Creates and communicates status reports in accordance with departmental standards.

Updates documentation consistently, following departmental policies and procedures.

Attends and participates in team, project and department meetings to increase awareness and information flow.

Meets with customers and provides frequent written status updates to customers, team members, and department management.

Identifies implementation impediments and suggests solutions in collaboration with IS team.

Reviews workflow processes and gives suggestions of technology solutions to clients.

With IS team solves production and maintenance problems, documents processes and creates action plans delineating steps and procedures. 

Analyzes tasks and problems and determines the most efficient and cost effective method of accomplishing defined requirements within a scheduled deadline. 

Implements and modifies test plans for information technology systems including unit and system testing.

Gives input into the development of clear, concise training materials and conducts customer educational sessions.

Prepares SOWs that are complete and clearly understood, while appropriately setting customer expectations.

Documents and prioritizes issues with vendor; stays current with vendor trends, strategic plans and technology.

Schedules loading bundles and fixes with vendor, systems group and customers.

Participates in process improvement by examining techniques in use and determining appropriate changes to effect improvements, reduce costs and enhance internal operational business processes.

Demonstrates ongoing dedication to expanding technical and business expertise and applies new skills and knowledge to TMC situations.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:  Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

EXPERIENCE: None required. One (1) year of business system analysis experience preferred. 

LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION: None Required
