SUMMARY
Delivers financial reporting support through the development, deployment, and maintenance of advanced business intelligence and data visualization solutions. Partners with finance stakeholders and analytical teams to translate complex reporting requirements into intuitive dashboards and analytical tools. Responsible for designing, testing, and documenting solutions that enhance financial performance monitoring and operational insight. Applies expertise in BI technologies and visualization techniques to convert financial and non-financial data into actionable intelligence. Supports service line analysis and enterprise-wide finance reporting platforms.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Develop BI solutions and tools in support of TMC customer needs.
Support the Implementation and Training of new BI Solutions.
Research and evaluate new tools/visualization techniques to support customers’ needs.
Monitor use of reporting solutions and identifies usage inconsistent with customer business requirements.
Develop, design, and interpret use case specifications.
Engage with peers and leadership to enhance processes through reporting and data solutions.
Follow project scope, development timelines, and established design standards.
Perform quality assurance reviews and testing of reporting solutions.
Identify, debug, and remedy problems under stressful conditions and/or complex circumstances.
Adheres to and supports team members in exhibiting TMCH values of integrity, community, compassion, and dedication.
Adheres to TMC organizational and department-specific safety, confidentiality, values, policies and standards.
Performs related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in data sciences, finance, or healthcare required. Master’s degree in data sciences, finance, or healthcare preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Five (5) to seven (7) years of healthcare finance experience required. Two (2) years of BI solutions development and analysis experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, required.
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION: Certification in CBIP, MS Data Analyst Associate, or other related BI development tool is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· In- depth understanding of database systems and reporting applications.
· In- depth understanding of database systems and reporting applications
· Functional SQL knowledge and applied experience.
· Applied experience in healthcare finance and reporting.
· Applied experience in BI technologies (Qlik, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.).
· Applied experience in designing custom data models and algorithms using data science or advanced analytical methodologies.
· Good understanding of the business process for which data applications are designed.
· Knowledge of how to evaluate systems and develop scope and document system needs.
· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals, extensive financial reports, and/or legal documents.
· Ability to calculate figures and compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs; ability to apply basic algebraic concepts.
· Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
· Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.), and with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
