Application Systems Developer - Jira
Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Writes programs that adhere to provided specifications for information technology systems.
Drafts design and analysis specifications.
Implements provided test plans for information technology systems; creates different types of test plans including unit, system and volume testing.
Creates documentation for work produced following all appropriate standards.
Provides customer training for systems; develops basic training material.
Provides support in an on-call rotation.
Identifies, debugs, and remedies problems.
Implements provided maintenance plans for IT systems; implements monitoring tools for IT systems using standard methodologies.
Completes work as described in the Statements of Work, Service Level Agreements, or project plans.
Adheres to and supports team members in exhibiting TMCH values of integrity, community, compassion, and dedication.
Adheres to TMC organizational and department-specific safety, confidentiality, values, policies and standards.
Performs related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: Bachelors’ degree or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of programming analysis experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
