Job Description
SUMMARY:
The Accountant Senior is a key contributor to the finance team, responsible for independently managing complex accounting tasks, preparing financial statements, and supporting audits and budgeting processes. This role requires expert-level knowledge of US GAAP, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead initiatives and mentor junior staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Apply US GAAP to complex areas including revenue recognition, audit support, budgeting, cost reporting, and financial analysis.
- Book high-complexity journal entries.
- Build and manage advanced spreadsheets using high-level functions.
- Perform transactional accounting tasks (journal entries, reconciliations).
- Independently prepare financial statements and reports.
- Collaborates with others in preparation, analysis, and presentation of financial reports and statistics to governing board and Administration.
- Reviews actual performance against budgeted performance and prepares reports explaining budget deviations.
- Adheres to and supports team members in exhibiting TMCH values of integrity, community, compassion, and dedication.

· Performs related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
EXPERIENCE: Four (4) - six (6) years of relevant experience.
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION: None required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
· Expert skills in excel.
· Strong knowledge of ERP / systems.
· Expert knowledge of US GAAP.
· Strong abilities to prepare financial statements.
· Moderate knowledge of Tax / Treasury
· Moderate knowledge of AP / Payroll
· Strong skills in BS Reconciliations.
· Strong skills in Bank Reconciliations.
· Strong abilities in audit preparation.
· Moderate skills in processes evaluations and design.
· Strong skills in troubleshooting.
· Strong attention to detail skills.
