This 28 bed unit has all private rooms and provides care for patients with a broad range of conditions and disease processes. This unit also manages patients requiring inpatient oncology treatments and serves those that are experiencing complications with their outpatient therapies. We have a challenging environment that focuses on exemplary patient care and outcomes set in an environment where team work, compassion, empathy, integrity, and dedication are promoted and lived out.

The Patient Care Technician is responsible for direct patient care services on a specific unit under the supervision of an RN or Case Manager. Provides personal care and assists with the implementation of selected portions of a care plan including respiratory services, rehabilitation services, and phlebotomy under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse.


EDUCATION: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of patient care experience, preferably in an acute care setting; or no experience if completed one semester of clinicals in an accredited A.D.N. nursing program or completed two semesters of clinicals in an accredited BSN nursing program.

LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION: Must hold and maintain a current Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
